Master Tesfu Goshu Tesema

Born in 1987, he started with his Martial Arts career commencing thought gymnastic sport in 1997 when he was 10 years old. Subsequently he has traine various martial arts including Wushu in which he received black belt from master Berehanu Akroso.

His first competition was in Mekele City in the 48-52 kg category in which he the received gold medal.  His first club was established in Korem City consisting of more than 80 students was when he was involved in Taekwondo. Hi Taekwondo school was the first World Taekwondo school in the Tigray Region. However, after numerous years of training the international Taekwondo became the more influential martial art in Ethiopia.

Master Tesfu Goshu received his Dan ranking from the International Taekwondo Federation whilst attending 3 years at the College of Education. During that time and afterwards, he had given training to over 600 students in Raya Maichew, Alamata, Korem and Kobo Towns. He also made an action film entitled “Raya.”

His further knowledge was by self training from international action movies and by martial art books. , since he has also deep love for this martial art sport he has never quite working this art.

He also considers this art as his full time job. Whereas, since the Ethiopian sport policy give serious focus for Olympic sport and All African competitions most of the support has been given to world Taekwondo and / Wkf/  Karate style of Martial Art. On the contrary mast Tesfu Goshu has received his Karate Dan from the National Federation with efficiency. Thereby he has given training for over 2000 students in Mekele city and Mekele University in addition to Ministry of Defense and various camps.

He also manage to graduate so many instructors and he further establish sport karate committee in the region for the first time whereby he has prepared competitions and contribute a lot to attained the sport at this level. Through this process he manage to graduate in international Taekwondo federation his 3rd Dan he further manage to world united Karate Federation by Hanshi Mario,who is the founder of UFMA and HMMA WMKO Chere Man by kickboxing፣mixed martial arts Shotokan Karate 4th Dan and he has received Master Instructor and Master Certificate from the federation.

Moreover, he has received his 5th Dan from Campo KKFI Global Organization and the World Sabaki Federation.

He also has taken various trainings from various masters such us kungfu፣worldTeakwondo፣Karate፣Jujitsu፣kickboxing፣muaythai፣Jutkundo፣ikiddo፣Kemp o and weapon.  Moreover He also manages to publish 2 books in titled, Karate kick boxing and muaythai. In further attained Ashihara full contact Karate from Kaicho Hoosain Narker who is Student of Mas Oyama and Hideyuki Ashihara and international head master president of world sabaki federation subsequently he also attained various short trainings for several connective years, he also attained training in Cape-Town South Africa.

He further prepared more than 10 various trainings and competition throughout Ethiopia.

He was appointed the head instructor of the AKI in Ethiopia and is the President and Founder of the Ethiopian Karate Do Association. He is also a qualified judge and Technical Committee of the National Karate Federation.

He currently teaches in Addis Ababa and throughout the country.
